On Saturday 20th June, 2009, members of Ashfield U3A Real Ale Group and friends travelled by tram to Nottingham's Castle Rock micro-brewery where brewer, Neil gave them a guided tour of the brewery's workings.

Samples of the products were then enjoyed in the adjoining pub, 'The Vat & Fiddle', where members received vouchers for four halves of Castle Rock beer.
