Ashfield U3A Garden Visits Group

Dorrie Kirton is co-ordinating this group, which will visit gardens open to the public, and garden centres. The objectives are to gain information and ideas about gardens and gardening, from each other and people who own or are employed by those establishments. The group normally meets on the first Tuesday afternoon of the month.

Anyone who is willing to give a lift to someone in their area without a car, or anyone who is willing to contribute £2 - £3 towards cost of travel, depending on distance, please fill in name, area and phone number on the form provided on the 'Gardening Group' notice board, so that those requiring lifts can then contact you.

Urgent ideas are required for afternoon visits for 2008, within easy travelling distance. Please write any ideas you have for garden visits, together with details, on the list provided at the U3A meeting.

For more details, contact Dorrie on 0115-9640452.
