The Ashfield U3A Classical Music Group inaugural meeting was held in January 2008 and will be held on the
fourth Wednesday each month from 14:00 to 16:00. In the first instance, Alan Radford will act as host
and co-ordinator, but it is hoped that once the group is up and running, someone will come forward and volunteer
to take over.
The group will listen to all types of classical music, with a different composer or subject each month, chosen
in turn by each member. As the group develops, it is hoped that there will be regular visits to live performances,
operas, etc.
