All newcomers are welcome, we set subjects and research them, if possible linking them to our own
family histories. Genealogy help and support is always available.
The objectives of the group are threefold:
Photograph below:Some members of the Family History group visited The National Holocaust Centre at Laxton for the summer outing, we were lucky that it was dry! It was a very thought provoking visit, wonderfully explained and displayed. In the gardens there were a 1000 white roses each commemorating someone lost due to their Jewish heritage. The cafe was great and all the staff very helpful, we highly recommend a visit to learn about this period in history that was never taught in our schools. ![]() Photograph below: Family History Group outing to Framework Knitters' Museum at Ruddington on 9th June, 2016. ![]() Photographs below: Family History Group outing to Lincoln on 11th June, 2015 to visit the cathedral and see the Magna Carta in Lincoln Castle. The weather proved to be excellent. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
