Ashfield U3A Horticulture Group 1

Horticulture Group 1 is aimed at those with a desire to gain a deeper knowledge of plants and gardening. We aim to learn from each other using our own gardens as a resource. This is an opportunity for members to share with others their own passions and expertise relating to gardening. Each meeting will involve a tour of the host's garden and a talk by the host on a topic of interest. As this group is to be held in people's homes, numbers will be limited.

The group meets on the fourth Monday afternoon of each month at 10:00 from March to September. There will also be a coffee morning in the autumn to organise a bulk seed buy, if possible.

From March 2009, members will pay £1 per meeting towards the cost of winter speakers. If you have to miss a meeting, please contact the host as soon as possible. Please check with the host if you want to bring a visitor.

For more details, contact Lynne and Barrie Jackson on 01623-750466 or email Lynne & Barrie.
